Job Summary
Dev X Staff Engineer - Fullstack developer responsible for designing and building production-ready software within the Digital Banking team. The role involves owning features end-to-end, collaborating with product owners and designers, writing clean scalable code, conducting performance optimizations, participating in agile ceremonies, creating technical documentation, performing peer code reviews, and continuously improving development processes. Requires deep experience with Java, Spring Boot, React/Typescript, microservices, cloud environments, CI/CD, and mentoring of peers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent
- 12+ years of experience in software development using Java
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and concurrent programming
- Experience with microservices architecture, Java EE, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hibernate, Oracle, PostgreSQL, NoSQL, Git, IntelliJ IDEA, Pub/Sub, Data Flow
- Experience in React, Typescript
- Experience in native and hybrid cloud environments and Agile development
- Proficient in Python or Java, multi-tenant cloud technologies
- Strong collaboration and communication skills for cross-functional teamwork
- Analytical problem-solver with attention to detail and structured thinking
- Experience with Java IDEs (Eclipse, IntelliJ), application servers (Tomcat), scripting languages (JSON, XML, YAML, Terraform), Git, Maven
- Champion of Agile Scrum methodologies and SAFe frameworks
- Experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins or GitHub CI
- Familiarity with secure solution design principles
- Knowledge of concurrent backend environments and multithreading
- Experience with tools or languages including Ruby, Python, Perl, Node.js, Bash, C, C++, Spring, Oracle, Docker, Kubernetes
