Job Summary
Maintain ice surface quality by performing efficient snow removal during timeouts and stoppages, while placing and removing nets, assisting with board and glass maintenance, and addressing other ice-surface needs required by the Ice Operations Department. Deliver engaging fan interactions and participate in game presentation activations throughout Little Caesars Arena, representing the Detroit Red Wings and Winged Wheel Entertainment with a professional, energetic demeanor. Skaters must submit a 30-second video of their skating ability via Redpatrol@Hockeytown.com and commit to a flexible schedule covering 50% of home games, including nights, weekends, and holidays. This role is integral to the Carhartt Ice Crew's mission of energizing fans and ensuring NHL-standard playing conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a flexible schedule with ability to work 50% of Detroit Red Wing home games (Including nights, weekends, and holidays)
- Must be a proficient ice skater
- Must be able to maintain a flexible schedule and reliable attendance throughout the season
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
