Job Summary
Monitor and patrol assigned county facilities to maintain a visible presence and deter security incidents. Provide customer service by executing security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities while communicating professionally with visitors and staff. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. This role supports access control activities within a range of client industries in Columbia, SC. Applicants must have at least two years of security-related experience and meet specific age and licensing requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
