Job Summary
Detention Officer responsible for supervising and monitoring residents, coordinating with law enforcement and judiciary as needed, planning and performing detention duties to ensure proper booking, incarceration and safety, inspecting facilities for cleanliness/sanitation, maintaining inventories of sanitation and inmate supplies, and transporting prisoners to court or appearances as required. Work hours are irregular and may include early/late shifts with briefings and meetings; assignments may include Adult Male or Adult Female Units.
