Job Summary
Wash the exterior of vehicles using various cleaning solutions, wax and buff vehicles with machines, vacuum interiors, clean upholstery, and apply preservation chemicals to protect surfaces. Remove grease from engines and clean leather or fabric with dyes and paints. Perform quality inspections on your work and that of team members to ensure streak-free windows and thorough vacuuming. Maintain store facilities to produce high-quality service and respond to customer inquiries or complaints promptly. This physically demanding role requires frequent bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working outdoors in varying climates. Compensation is piecework. A valid driver's license, 1+ years of detailing experience, and the ability to work weekends and holidays are required.
Required Qualifications
- 1 or more years of detailing experience
- A valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Ability to learn quickly
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions
- Desire to treat each customer's personal vehicle with great care and respect
- The willingness to come to work on time and stay on task when on the clock
- The ability to drive both automatic and manual shift vehicles
- The availability to work Saturday or Sunday and holidays as deemed necessary to meet production needs
- Commitment to report to work on time and stay on task during shift
