Job Summary
Wash exterior vehicles using various cleaning solutions, wax and buff with machines, vacuum interiors, clean upholstery, and apply preservation chemicals to protect surfaces. Remove grease from engines and use dyes or paints to treat leather and fabric. Maintain high-quality service by responding quickly to customer inquiries and complaints while ensuring vehicles are serviced at the highest satisfaction level. Perform quality inspections on your own work and that of team members to identify streaks, smudges, or missed areas. This physically demanding role involves frequent bending, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working outdoors under varying climate conditions. A valid driver's license and ability to drive both automatic and manual shift vehicles are required. Availability to work Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays is necessary to meet production needs.
Required Qualifications
- 1 or more years of detailing experience
- A valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Ability to learn quickly
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions
- Desire to treat each customer's personal vehicle with great care and respect
- The willingness to come to work on time and stay on task when on the clock
- The ability to drive both automatic and manual shift vehicles
- The availability to work Saturday or Sunday and holidays as deemed necessary to meet production needs
- Commitment to report to work on time and stay on task during shift
