Job Summary
Wash, wax, buff, vacuum, and dry vehicles using various cleaning solutions, cloths, and buffing machines. Apply preservation chemicals to protect leather and fabric, remove grease from engines, and clean upholstery and surfaces. Inspect work for streaks, smudges, and missed areas, ensuring high-quality service and quick response to customer inquiries. Maintain store facilities and adhere to uniform and grooming standards while operating under varying climate conditions. Use OSHA-approved products like window cleaner and tire shine. Work with a sense of urgency to meet production needs, including Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- A valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Ability to learn quickly
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions
- Desire to treat each customer's personal vehicle with great care and respect
- The willingness to come to work on time and stay on task when on the clock
- The ability to drive both automatic and manual shift vehicles
- The availability to work Saturday or Sunday and holidays as deemed necessary to meet production needs
- Commitment to report to work on time and stay on task during shift
