Job Summary
Conduct exterior washing, waxing, buffing, and interior vacuuming of vehicles using various cleaning solutions and preservation chemicals. Clean upholstery, apply dyes and paints to protect leather or fabric, and remove grease from engines or engine compartments. Maintain store facilities to ensure high-quality service and quick response to customer inquiries or complaints. Perform quality inspections of your work and that of team members while adhering to uniform and grooming standards. Use OSHA-approved waxes and cleaners such as window cleaner and tire shine. Work outdoors under varying climate conditions, lifting up to 50 lbs, and drive both automatic and manual shift vehicles. Maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record.
Required Qualifications
- 1 or more years of detailing experience
- A valid driver's license and a good driving record
- Ability to learn quickly
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions
- Desire to treat each customer's personal vehicle with great care and respect
- The willingness to come to work on time and stay on task when on the clock
- The ability to drive both automatic and manual shift vehicles
- The availability to work Saturday or Sunday and holidays as deemed necessary to meet production needs
- Commitment to report to work on time and stay on task during shift
