Job Summary
Produce accurate fabrication bills of material and erection plans for large, heavy structural, deck-only projects. Prepare deck layout plans and sections using AutoCAD, manage multiple submittals and sequences, and coordinate project details with customers, steel detailers, and engineers by preparing RFIs. Handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, production-driven environment while meeting assigned project schedules. Requires fluent AutoCAD skills, strong visualization abilities, and good communication. This role supports New Millennium's product fabrication and erection processes.
Required Qualifications
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent with AutoCAD
- Ability to visualize how elements fit together in 3D when working with 2D drawings
- Willingness to go beyond typical duties to assist co-workers and customers
- CAD related degrees and/or experience
Desired Qualifications
- Prior structural, joist, and/or deck detailing experience
