Detailer / Drafter

Prepare joist and deck layout plans and sections using AutoCAD, calculate joist and girder loading based on design loading, and produce accurate fabrication bills of material and erection plans. Coordinate project details with customers, steel detailers, and engineers by preparing RFIs, while handling multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, production-driven environment. Meet schedules for assigned projects and perform other duties as necessary. This role supports the fabrication and erection of New Millennium steel building products across the country from the Electric Works office in Fort Wayne, IN.
