Job Summary
Produce accurate fabrication bills of material and erection plans for New Millennium products. Prepare joist and deck layout plans and sections using AutoCAD, calculate joist and girder loading based on design documents, and manage RFIs while coordinating project details with customers, steel detailers, and engineers. Handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, production-driven environment and meet assigned project schedules. Assist co-workers and customers as needed. Requires AutoCAD fluency, 3D visualization skills, and CAD-related experience; preferred prior structural or joist detailing background.
Required Qualifications
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent with AutoCAD
- Ability to visualize how elements fit together in 3D when working with 2D drawings
- Willingness to go beyond typical duties to assist co-workers and customers
- CAD related degrees and/or experience
Desired Qualifications
- Prior structural and/or joist detailing experience
