Job Summary
Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents to determine door, frame, and hardware requirements. Prepare accurate door and hardware schedules (submittals) for customer and architect approval using industry-specific software. Assist with entry-level detailing projects under the guidance of experienced Detailers and management while interpreting project plans, specifications, and contract requirements to ensure accurate product selection. Review and incorporate approved change orders while communicating project impacts as needed. Provide technical support to project managers, sales, purchasing, and operations teams. Develop proficiency with detailing software and DH Pace processes while supporting the overall project team and maintaining accurate documentation to complete projects within established timelines. Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an office, business, or administrative environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings or willingness to learn
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a customer-focused approach
- Ability to earn Door and Hardware Industry Associate (DHIA) certification within six months of hire
- Successful completion of employment verifications, background check, drug screen, and driving record (if applicable)
Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
- Basic knowledge of commercial doors, frames, and hardware is preferred but not required
