Job Summary
Detailer responsible for efficiently processing vehicles through the Detail Shop with a focus on sale-ready presentation. Learn and apply exterior and interior cleaning techniques, determine if decals, stickers, license plates, or writing on windows need removal, and maintain high-quality shop standards. Utilize tools such as compressed air hoses, heat guns, razor blades, screwdrivers, and vacuums while following safety procedures and maintaining confidentiality of information. Team-oriented role requiring light to moderate physical work, in both indoor and outdoor environments, contributing to peak-time operations and overall shop flow. Entry-level position with opportunities to learn advanced detailing techniques over time and develop a positive service culture within ACV’s collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Basic ability to read and understand work orders
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal)
- Strong focus on teamwork
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work in a noisy workshop setting with exposure to outdoors and weather conditions
- Willingness to learn advanced detailing techniques over time
