Job Summary
The Detailer is responsible for modeling and coordinating projects using the latest technologies and industry best practices. Key responsibilities include leading mechanical piping and plumbing detailing efforts, streamlining layout and routing, recognizing design flaws, and collaborating with project teams during coordination meetings. Proficiency in Autodesk software and strong communication skills are essential. The role requires at least 5 years of related experience, a high school diploma, and knowledge in relevant building codes. Occasional travel of 0 - 5% may be required.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ Years of related field experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in Mechanical Piping, Process Piping, and/or Plumbing trades
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Current proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Fabrication, Autodesk Navisworks Manage, Autodesk BIM 360 Glue and Autodesk BIM 360 Docs platforms
- Proficient in Bluebeam Revu, BOX and Smartsheet
- Proficient in the Google Workspace: Docs, Gmail, Sheets, Forms
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Workspace: Word and Excel
- Proficient in the application of applicable local, state and international building codes
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient with Dynamo, Forge, Python, Revit API, C#, VB.net, F#
- Proficient in Spanish
- Trade School preferred
