Job Summary
The Detailer is responsible for modeling and coordinating projects utilizing ACCO’s Virtual Construction Standards and industry best practices to ensure high-quality and efficient outcomes. Responsibilities include leading Mechanical Piping, Process Piping, and Plumbing detailing efforts, fostering collaboration within project BIM Coordination and management, and streamlining layout and routing for effective installations. Key skills required are proficiency in Autodesk tools, communication with project teams, and adherence to local and international building codes. Physical demands include regular lifting and prolonged periods of sitting and standing.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ Years of related field experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience in Mechanical Piping, Process Piping, and/or Plumbing trades
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
- Current proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Autodesk Fabrication, Autodesk Navisworks Manage, Autodesk BIM 360 Glue and Autodesk BIM 360 Docs platforms
- Proficient in Bluebeam Revu, BOX and Smartsheet
- Proficient in the Google Workspace: Docs, Gmail, Sheets, Forms
- Proficient in the Microsoft Office Workspace: Word and Excel
- Proficient in the application of applicable local, state and international building codes
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient with Dynamo, Forge, Python, Revit API, C#, VB.net, F#
- Trade School preferred
- Proficient in Spanish
