Job Summary
Perform comprehensive exterior washing and vehicle paint correction to restore vehicles' shine and appearance. Use automotive buffers and cleaning equipment safely to buff, polish, and detail interiors, including vacuuming carpets, upholstery, windows, and dashboard surfaces. Wash lot vehicles with a wash truck when assigned by the Detail Manager. Maintain adequate supplies of clean and dry towels, ensuring they are laundered as necessary. Operate all equipment and handle chemicals safely, verifying that all bottles are marked appropriately. Follow safe work practices consistently to maintain a safe working environment. Maintain trash pickup and removal from lot and property areas. Work on the lot for snow removal, keeping walkways and entryways shoveled when necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate standard passenger cars confidently
- Willingness to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks regularly in various outdoor conditions
- Willingness to work on lot when necessary for snow removal, keeping walkways, and entryways shoveled
- Maintain trash pickup and removal from lot and property areas
- Operate all equipment and handle chemicals in a safe manner
- Make sure all chemical bottles are marked appropriately
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in auto detailing or auto detailing facility work
- Knowledge of vehicle paint correction techniques and automotive buffing tools
- Familiarity with vehicle exterior washing methods and cleaning equipment operation
- Ability to perform detailed cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
- Experience with janitorial or custodial tasks
- Attention to cleanliness and organization
