Job Summary

Uses hand tools and portable power tools, conducts quality control checks on finishes and thickness, performs repairs (drilling, patching, repainting, buffing), and maintains safe handling of hazardous chemicals while supporting production goals and a clean, efficient work environment. The role emphasizes fiberglass finishing, quality control, precise tool use, safety, material efficiency, and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- Fiberglass Finishing Expertise: Proficiency in trimming and grinding rough fiberglass, making precise cuts and through holes for assembly installation, and smoothing surfaces to achieve high-quality finishes
- Quality Control: Checking fiberglass thickness, examining finishes for defects, and performing repairs such as drilling, patching, repainting, and buffing ground-out areas
- Tool Proficiency: Experience with hand tools and portable power tools
- Safety and Cleanliness: Safe handling of hazardous chemicals and maintaining a clean work area
- Material Efficiency: Assist in controlling material usage while ensuring quality standards
