Job Summary
Lead and manage the detail shop staff to ensure weekly production goals are met and high-quality standards align with customer expectations. Oversee daily operations, including staffing, training, labor hour management, and safety audits to optimize productivity and profitability. Monitor inventory levels, run reports for accurate account postings, and coordinate with other departments to prepare for production flow. Maintain shop equipment and facility supplies while ensuring compliance with customer contracts regarding detail completion. Perform any other duties assigned by the designated manager. This role requires a minimum of two years of leadership and automotive experience, with a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience
- 2 years of automotive experience
- High School diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license that meets the requirements
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Must be able to perform Light to Heavy Physical Work including standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting, grasping, pushing, pulling, running, jumping, yelling, and rapid movement
- Visual acuity comparable to definitions for Clerical, Administrative, and Machine Operators (including inspection) positions regarding color, depth perception, and field of vision
- Ability to perform duties in both inside and outside environmental working conditions including temperature changes, weather, noise, and exposure to fumes, odors, and dust
- Must pass a complete background check

- Prior leadership experience with a proven ability to manage direct reports and hold them accountable
- Auction and vehicle detailing experience
