Detail Engineer (Voice/Video)

Job Summary
Engineer and manage multiple simultaneous build initiatives across Verizon networks by creating detailed technical installation instructions (I-SPECs) for new and existing technologies. Ensure all work meets applicable engineering, financial, planning, and operational standards while maintaining accurate documentation in systems like ICON, CCP, Canvas, and VENUe. Identify, monitor, and drive resolution of complex engineering issues in coordination with Centre Engineering, Field Engineering, Operations, and Project Sponsors. Provide technical guidance on First Office Application projects and report project status to Direct Management. This hybrid role supports customer growth and cost savings through timely network upgrades and reconfigurations. Applicants must hold a valid right to work in Ireland.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
- Knowledge of one or more of the following technical domains: SONET, DWDM and Long Haul Transport Systems, Backbone Routing and Switching systems, Physical Server Deployments, or Voice Switching platforms
- Telecoms Installation Experience - hands-on or remotely directed
- To be considered for this role, applicants must already hold a valid right to work in Ireland
