Job Summary
This Destination Services Consultant role provides local support and expertise to relocating employees and their families, including performing area orientations, helping secure housing, identifying schools for enrollment, opening bank accounts, obtaining a Social Security Number, and obtaining a driver’s license. The role is engaged as an independent contractor on an assignment-based basis with flexible, ad hoc scheduling and may involve driving clients in the local area using the consultant’s personal vehicle. Strong research, planning, organization, communication, and time-management skills are required.
Required Qualifications
- Expert knowledge of city and surrounding areas, including local schools
- Possession of a valid driver’s license, as consultants are expected to drive clients in their area in their personal vehicle
- Proficient in basic computer applications
- A flexible schedule that would accommodate an ad hoc working style
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to research efficiently
- Effective at problem-solving
