Job Summary
Greet guests, build rapport, and recommend craft cocktails from our menu while assisting bartenders in preparing drinks. Maintain cleanliness behind the bar by washing glassware, restocking supplies, and ensuring fruit and garnishes are prepared ahead of opening. Attractively display glasses and liquor bottles, then open and close the store while monitoring guests and enforcing safe alcohol service practices. Refuse service to intoxicated or disruptive patrons as required by state regulations and follow all health, sanitation, and safety protocols. Weekend and late-night availability is required, along with the ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- A strong commitment to ensuring an excellent experience for every guest
- Dependable, hardworking, and committed to assisting the team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to remain calm when dealing with unruly and argumentative patrons
- Ability to learn cash register software
- Must comply with state laws regarding the legal service of alcohol
- Weekend and late-night availability
- Must be able to lift to 50 pounds following proper techniques preventing injury
- Must be legal drinking age or older
- Minimum of one year related experience
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of mixology, barkeeping, or other related training
- Advanced bartending skills and abilities
