Job Summary
Maintain the fabric and grounds of RYA House, Compass House, and RYA Portland House by planning routine maintenance, overseeing cleanliness, and resolving equipment failures through repairs or contractor liaison. Negotiate and review maintenance contracts for air conditioning, lifts, and firefighting systems while ensuring HASAWA compliance via staff inductions and risk assessments. Manage warehousing of sales inventory and lead the despatch team to process orders within two working days, overseeing all logistics and third-party relationships to balance efficiency, cost, and quality.
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years' experience within a purchasing, stock control, Health and Safety at Work, or Facilities Management environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage a varied workload effectively
- Confident using Microsoft Office
