Job Summary
Associate role supporting 5th & 6th graders in a DeSoto Intermediate classroom by working with individual students or small groups to achieve skill goals. Duties include reading with students, guiding behavior, helping devise strategies tailored to student needs, alerting teachers to concerns, and supervising students during arrival, recess, dismissal, and lunch periods. Needed qualities include being student-focused, team-oriented, time- and organizationally capable, with a commitment to ethical confidentiality and positive student outcomes. Pay range is $16.36-$18.16 per hour; benefits available.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma.
- Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
