DeSoto Intermediate School Associate 26-27 (2)

Associate role assisting the teacher to support specific learning goals by working with individual students or small groups to help them achieve appropriate skill levels. Responsibilities include reading to students, listening to students read, guiding student behavior, assisting in devising reinforcement strategies based on student needs, notifying the regular teacher of any issues, and supervising students during arrival, recess, dismissal, and lunch periods. Candidate should be student-focused, team-oriented, with strong time management and organizational skills, and maintain confidentiality in line with expectations for licensed teachers. Hours are 7:45am–3:15pm (Mon-Thu) and 7:45am–12:45pm (Fri). Benefits offered. AA/EOE.
