Job Summary
Sherpa 6 seeks a Desktop Test Automation Engineer to own and expand our Playwright-based automation framework for Windows desktop applications, improve the efficiency of the automated test suite, formulate and document test cases (including for mobile apps), analyze and isolate root causes of defects, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, high-performance desktop software for mission-critical environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3+ years of Desktop Test Automation Engineering
- Proficiency in Java development
- Proficiency in developing tests with Playwright
- Experience with ticketing software (Jira, Rally, etc.)
- Experience writing/running automated test scripts
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be a US citizen
- Active Secret security clearance (Interim ok)
