Job Summary
Apprentice on the InterDigital IS team in France. Responsible for delivering end-to-end technical support for end users, covering network infrastructure, desktop systems, productivity/collaboration tools, and business applications. Tasks include installing, configuring, repairing/troubleshooting desktops and network issues in a heterogeneous environment; participating in infrastructure projects and user training; serving as a first-level problem-resolution resource; handling Help Desk requests, documenting resolutions; escalating urgent issues; providing hardware/software/phone-system/conferencing support; maintaining devices, accounts, inventory, backups, and knowledge base documentation; collaborating across IS teams and adhering to service standards. Qualifications emphasize strong customer orientation, clear communication, autonomy, multi-tasking, and English fluency. Desired extras include experience with O365, Active Directory, ticketing systems, scripting for task automation, and Linux. Travel is rare (0-10%). Location: Cesson-Sévigné, Ille-et-Vilaine, France.
Required Qualifications

- Progressively, you will be able to prioritize, resolve customer issues and meet individual deadlines while achieving team goals in a timely manner.
- Progressively, you will develop the ability to solve difficult and complex problems independently and as part of a team, as well as the ability to document and follow IS standard procedures.
- You are comfortable speaking and writing in English on a daily basis.
- Plus: Experience with O365 applications, Active Directory and ticketing systems.
- Plus: Ability to automate recurring tasks with scripts.
- Plus: Knowledge of Linux.
