Job Summary
The Desktop Support Technician will deliver hardware and software support for employees and new hires, managing tasks such as imaging and installation on various computer platforms, troubleshooting, and providing customer service. Key responsibilities include coordinating inventory, managing service requests, and working with external vendors. Candidates should have a background in IT support.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years IT experience
- Knowledge of Windows and Macintosh platforms
- Familiar with basic network concepts
- Networked printer experience
- Experience in using PC-based word processing software
- Experience with PC-based spreadsheet software sufficient to develop formulas
- Ability and willingness to work extended hours or a modified schedule
- Experience working in or supporting a call center or help desk environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Own car for transportation
- Valid driver’s license
Desired Qualifications
- MCP and or A+ Certifications
- Experience with imaging windows 10 OS
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work in teams and in a team environment
