Job Summary

Mid-level Desktop Support Technician needed to provide desk-side support at a government site in Washington, DC. Responsibilities include direct desk-side support to the customer, troubleshooting and repairing IT devices, and managing the resolution of customer tickets according to established SLRs. You will troubleshoot and resolve user computer issues (hardware and software), support local and networked printers and hardware, and assist other technicians. Required qualifications include a US citizenship, DoD Secret Clearance, DoD 8570 IAT Level II Security+ or higher, Windows 11 experience, and familiarity with service-ticket systems (HP Service Manager, Remedy or similar). Strong customer service and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to lift equipment and work in data centers or confined spaces.

Required Qualifications

  • HS diploma with 4+ years of prior relevant experience
  • Valid DoD 8570 IAT Level II: Security+ or higher Certification
  • US Citizen
  • Must possess a DoD Secret Clearance
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows OS, version 11
  • Experience with HP Service Manager, Remedy, or similar Service/Help Desk ticket management software
  • Basic network troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
