Desktop Support Technician

Job Summary
Provide onsite and remote support for hardware, software, and peripheral issues, including deploying, configuring, and replacing laptops, desktops, and mobile devices. Support printers, scanners, and other office technology while assisting with user onboarding, equipment setup, and account-related requests. Perform basic network and connectivity troubleshooting and escalate complex issues to senior IT staff. Deliver excellent customer service to end users. Requires 0–2 years of IT support experience, basic knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365, and strong troubleshooting skills. Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds and work in wiring closets.
Required Qualifications
- 0–2 years of IT support, technical, or customer service experience
- Basic knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, computer hardware, and printers
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to learn new technologies and work independently
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work under desks, in wiring closets, and around IT equipment as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Technical certifications such as CompTIA A+
- Experience with ticketing systems
- Familiarity with Active Directory, Microsoft Intune, or endpoint management tools
- Experience supporting laptops, desktops, mobile devices, and printers
