Desktop Support Supervisor

Job Summary
Supervise and mentor a team of Desktop Support Technicians while assigning, prioritizing, and monitoring daily support requests to ensure timely resolution. Provide hands-on desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral support, troubleshooting hardware, software, networking, and end-user issues. Manage user accounts, permissions, and workstation deployments, ensuring IT support tickets are resolved within established service levels. Coordinate equipment installations, upgrades, and replacements while maintaining accurate documentation of support activities and IT assets. Partner with school administrators, faculty, and staff to deliver outstanding customer service and assist with IT projects, technology rollouts, and classroom technology support. Fluent in both English and Spanish, with a strong focus on Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, and Active Directory in an educational setting.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Desktop Support experience
- 2+ years of experience leading or supervising an IT support team
- Fluent in both English and Spanish (required)
- Strong knowledge of: Windows 10/11
- Strong knowledge of: Microsoft 365
- Strong knowledge of: Active Directory
- Strong knowledge of: Desktop and laptop hardware
- Strong knowledge of: Printers and peripherals
- Strong knowledge of: Basic networking concepts
- Experience with ticketing systems and IT asset management
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Strong customer service mindset with the ability to support both technical and non-technical users
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a K-12 school, school district, college, or educational environment is highly preferred
- Experience supporting classroom technology
- Experience with Google Workspace for Education
- Knowledge of audiovisual classroom equipment
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications are a plus
