Job Summary
Desktop Support I at Calvary Chapel Melbourne oversees low-level IT support for service requests, setup/removal/maintenance of end-user workstations, and in-person, phone, email, and helpdesk ticketing interactions. The role supports Wednesday and weekend service needs, documents actions taken during ticket resolution, escalates issues as needed, and collaborates with staff and volunteers while maintaining confidentiality. Core duties include Windows 11 basic troubleshooting, LAN/WAN and printer troubleshooting, and providing courteous, high-quality IT support; A+ Certification is preferred. Reports to the Assistant Director, IT; 40 hours per week; on-site at Melbourne campus. Ensure alignment with the church’s mission and participate in staff meetings as directed.
