Job Summary
Desktop Support Engineer role providing end-user IT support for hardware, software, and assets; handles inbound requests via phone/chat/email/ticketing, documents issues, troubleshoots, and delivers first-contact resolution; supports onsite and remote users, deploys equipment, onboards new employees, and escalates as needed; requires 3–5 years of IT support experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and proficiency with Windows/Mac OS, imaging software, scripting, and security practices; strong customer service and communication skills are essential. Occasional after-hours/on-call and weekend work are required. Location focus: New Rochelle, NY (onsite) with remote options for other employees; base salary $80,000–$100,000.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related degree
- 3-5 years in IT customer support, technical support, help desk or service desk experience
- 3-5 years providing IT infrastructure, application, PC and Mac desktop support
- Hands-on experience with Windows/Mac OS environments
