Job Summary

Desktop Support Associate II provides primary day-to-day end-user support for ActBlue staff across remote and Boston-area offices, owning IT processes, SaaS administration, onboarding/offboarding, incident and change management, and cross-functional IT projects. You’ll support core SaaS platforms (Okta, Jamf, Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian, Zoom), manage identity and access workflows (provisioning, SSO, access reviews), uphold endpoint security (patching, configuration, MDM), coordinate with vendors for hardware/networking, maintain technical documentation and knowledge base, and assist with in-office IT operations (conference-room AV, badge systems, inventory). You will train end users, contribute to automation opportunities, and collaborate with Security, HR, and Systems Administration in a remote-first environment. Requires 3+ years of IT/desktop support, strong macOS expertise, familiarity with SSO/IDP integrations, and ability to work across U.S. time zones with onsite Boston support at least twice per week. This is a full-time remote-first role with potential limited travel and a Boston-area office component; salary range provided is $65,658 - $81,543 - $97,428.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant IT or desktop support experience
  • Experience supporting Jamf, Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian, and Zoom
  • Advanced knowledge of macOS environments; experience supporting Apple devices in a managed enterprise
  • Familiarity with endpoint security tooling, MDM platforms, and SSO/identity provider integrations
  • Experience supporting meeting room and conferencing technology (Zoom Rooms, telephony, AV)
  • Willingness to work across U.S. time zones and support Boston-area onsite at least twice per week
  • Ability to lift 25 pounds
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; collaborative, people-first approach
  • Project management experience; cross-functional technical projects
  • Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
  • Remote-first culture with potential for limited travel for retreats/meetings
