Job Summary
Desktop Engineer I responsible for Tier 2/3 desktop support, imaging/build processes, software distribution and patch management across Windows PCs, laptops, and Citrix servers; will design and implement build processes, standards, and OS migrations; requires associates degree and 2+ years in IT/Desktop support, with strong AD, SCCM, Citrix, and OS expertise; healthcare environment experience, strong problem solving, and project coordination skills are valued.
Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in related field
- 3 to 5 years work experience OR equivalent combination
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in IS/IT supporting desktop hardware and software
- Minimum 2 years’ experience supporting Windows desktop/laptop/Citrix/Active Directory environment
- Minimum 2 years’ experience deploying and supporting OS migrations
- Minimum 1 year solid foundation in Active Directory, SCCM and other administration tools
- Experience in a mainly thin client environment is a plus
- Advanced knowledge of Windows/MacOS/Linux
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Knowledge of data privacy practices and laws
- Industry certifications (MCSE, CompTIA A+/Network Plus, Epic) preferred
