Job Summary
Respond to incoming ticket requests, calls, and walk-in requests while performing on-site, deskside support across multiple locations. Install software and updates, configure system settings, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, telecom services, and email. Create and implement solutions to prevent ongoing system disruptions, perform physical inventory of equipment, and maintain accurate database entries. Participate in on-call rotation overnight and weekends. Must live locally with a valid driver's license and ability to travel between facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer science or related field
- 3 or more years of experience in a corporate Information Technology department providing end-user support over a wide range of systems
- equivalent level of education and experience
- Knowledge and experience with Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) reference model
- Experience with end-user IT support (e.g., Windows operating systems, PC hardware, antivirus tools, personal firewall tools, web browser, MS Office applications)
- Must be available for and participate in on-call rotation overnight and weekends
- Ability to work on-site and travel between locations as needed
- Has a valid active driver's license
