Deskside Technician II

Job Summary
Support IT equipment in large corporate environments by providing desktop/laptop tech support for Mac and PC, Windows 7/10 operating systems, and mobile devices. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, perform IMAC support for install, move, add, and change tasks, and maintain repairs, spare parts, and system configurations. Track and resolve customer incidents through the client's ticketing tool while managing inventory of IT assets and performing backup, restoration, and migration of user data. Work on-call and after-hours support needs, potentially providing executive support and traveling to other client locations as required.
Required Qualifications
- +1 years corporate deskside support or equivalent experience
- Excellent troubleshooting capability
- Ability to maintain composure while handle challenging, dynamic, rapid-response user support
- Experience with Microsoft Office / Office 365 suite
- Experience with computer imaging software and data migration processes (e.g., SCCM, Intune)
- Experience with endpoint protection and encryption (Bitlocker) support
- Familiarity with using remote desktop support tools
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Maintain valid driver's license
- Walk, bend, stand for prolong periods of time, and lift equipment up to 50 pounds
- Maintain neat and professional work area and appearance in compliance with site policies
- Ability to pass standard panel drug screening and background check
- Demonstrate high level of professionalism and strong personal interaction skills
- Adhere to assigned shift schedule

- Experience supporting Mac OS, Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Smart Phones, AV Conferencing Systems, Printers and PC hardware
- Able to uphold a positive attitude at all times, even under stressful conditions
- Experience supporting remote facilities and users
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- High level of professionalism and strong personal interaction skills
- Ability to perform in-depth research and troubleshooting for complex technical issues
- Ability to prioritize and complete all work tasks with minimal supervision
- Ability to walk, bend, stand for long hours, and lift equipment up to 50 pounds
- Ability and willingness to learn new technologies
- Deskside / Desktop / End User Computer experience, ideally in a corporate environment
- Proven ability to handle challenging, rapid-response user support
- Proven ability to balance, prioritize and organize multiple tasks
