Job Summary
Support local users with 1st and partially 2nd level support while planning, installing, and configuring local IT infrastructure. Operate and maintain devices on the local network, including PCs, printers, and office applications like MS Office and Autodesk. Troubleshoot hardware and peripherals, manage Windows networks, and handle remote support for employees working from home. Coordinate local IT activities with central functions and manage local IT inventory. Travel quarterly to remote sites for on-site assistance. Requires technical education in Information Technology and experience as an IT Technician.
Required Qualifications
- providing on-site and remote user support
- installing, configuring, and maintaining devices operating on the local network including PCs, printers, etc
- supporting and troubleshooting equipment and peripherals (HDD, mice, keyboards, printers, etc)
- installing, configuring and diagnosing office applications (MS Office, Adobe, Autodesk, IE, RDS, etc) according to specifications
- troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems (repair or replace parts, debugging etc)
- supporting windows networks (AD, Users, profiles, file permissions)
- Basic knowledge of network (Cabling, connectivity, networking, etc)
- Basic knowledge of virtualization methods (VMWare)
- Basic knowledge in Client/Server environments (Citrix terminal server)
- Working on documentation and capacity management
- Manage local IT inventory (e.g. hardware inventory, software licenses)
- Technical education in Information Technology
- Advance skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, database creation/Management, ERP systems
- Excellent oral and written communication
