Job Summary
Coordinate operational, programmatic, and strategic support between DHAPP headquarters, country teams, partner militaries, implementing partners, and U.S. Government stakeholders. Monitor country program implementation, performance, milestones, and deliverables while maintaining situational awareness of developments affecting program execution. Support development of country strategies, implementation plans, and annual work plans, and review country reports and quarterly reviews to track progress toward goals. Participate in meetings, technical discussions, and country reviews, and conduct Temporary Duty travel up to 30% of the time for assessments, site visits, and field monitoring.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Public Health, International Health, Health Sciences, Public Administration, Epidemiology, Global Health, or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of three (3) years of progressively responsible experience supporting international public health, global health, HIV programs, program management, or related fields.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Ability to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust Clearance.
- Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30% of the time.
- Ability to work effectively across cultures, time zones, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with domestic and international stakeholders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and virtual collaboration platforms.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting military health programs or U.S. Government-funded international health programs is preferred.
- Master of Public Health (MPH).
- Experience working with partner militaries, Ministries of Defense, U.S. Government agencies, or implementing partners.
- Experience supporting HIV/AIDS, global health, or military health programs.
- Experience with strategic planning, program management, monitoring and evaluation, or grant oversight.
- Foreign language proficiency is desirable.
