Job Summary
Full-time designLab Collaborator to supervise and maintain the 4000+ sq ft fabrication and innovation space at St. Luke’s School, support student projects, prep and edit design files (STL/SVG/DXF) and create templates in Illustrator, Google Slides, and Onshape; coordinate with faculty and Marketing for events; assist with Summer@SLS offerings; ensure safety and proper operation of tools and equipment; and actively participate in cross-disciplinary collaboration across middle and high school programs.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with middle and high school-aged adolescents
- Familiarity with CAD software
- Experience with fabrication technologies (3D printers, CO2 lasers, CNC routers)
- Ability to supervise and mentor students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Comfort with maintaining and organizing lab spaces
- Proactive, self-starting attitude
- Commitment to equity and inclusive community
