Job Summary
Assist the Senior Designer in product development by sketching, creating tech packs, and managing trend research for women's wear brands. Coordinate samples from proto to sale stages, maintain fabric assortments, and generate updated line sheets. Oversee research and development of new styles while conducting market research to understand customer needs and competition. Shop retail floors, attend fittings with production teams, and communicate design requests across design, sales, and production departments. Send and follow up on packages for overseas vendors while adhering to strict deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Design or related field
- Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Computer proficiency in Word Office Suit, Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
- Sewing skills; ability to work basic sewing/pressing equipment
- Must have a good sense of color / print
- Excellent follow up skills and ability to meet deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Centric PLM a plus
