Designer Technician

Designer Technician to support engineering and project teams in CAD drafting and design for solar lighting installations. Develop detailed 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks; read and interpret dimensioned drawings with GD&T per ISO standards; apply ISO-based GD&T and functional dimensioning to ensure fit, function, tolerancing, and manufacturability of components; prepare layouts, schematics, and blueprints; revise drawings based on engineering review and project constraints; ensure designs meet technical specifications, regulatory standards, and client expectations; maintain version-controlled documentation; collaborate with engineering, operations, and project management teams and coordinate with municipalities and third-party engineers to support approvals and project alignment; 1–3 years of CAD drafting or related field; strong communication and organizational skills; office-based role with opportunity to grow in design and coordination within infrastructure projects.
