Job Summary
Concept, create, and develop adult and children's costumes and accessories for proprietary merchandise, including ready-to-wear and accessories. Illustrate specifications and collaborate with overseas factories to manage production while working cross-functionally with internal teams and vendors. Design concepts within cost structures, research competitor offerings, and follow sales trends. Travel overseas as needed to oversee manufacturing and maintain relationships with industry professionals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Apparel Design & Production
- 5-7 years related experience and/or training
- Experience in overseeing/managing a small team
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to present collections to upper management
- Ability to travel overseas as needed
- Hold a valid passport
- Technical skills in design programs, including Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CLO 3D program
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office software
- Conceptual
- Creative
- Self-starter

- Licensed product development
- Experience using 3D software
- Familiarity with PLM systems
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with industry professionals
