Job Summary
Designs and completes layouts of commercial and complex residential roof and floor systems for pricing and manufacturing, with independent judgment over structural and architectural design; discusses changes with engineers, architects and contractors, presents and follows up on new jobs, prepares roof truss layouts, coordinates with the shipping and field teams, performs job-site inspections, and maintains design data in the system while ensuring accuracy and current applications.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in civil, architectural or design related field required
- 3 years of drafting experience in a construction or building materials-related industry required
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
