Job Summary
Create engaging and timely merchandise displays throughout the store and other designated areas. Design visual presentations that enhance the customer experience and drive sales while collaborating with store leadership on floor planning and visual strategies. Lead and direct Floor Technicians during furniture moves and showroom resets, and support setup and visual preparation for in-store events and promotions. Use your design expertise, good judgment, and creativity to bring displays to life and accomplish department goals. This full-time role is part of a stable, family-oriented environment at Bob Mills Furniture, where you will thrive in a collaborative setting to see your ideas take shape on the showroom floor.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 2–5 years of experience in interior decorating, visual merchandising, or related field
- Strong understanding of visual display principles, retail trends, and customer behavior
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in design, art, architecture, or a related field
- Visual merchandising or design certifications
- A portfolio showcasing your work
- Excellent creativity, attention to detail, and initiative
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
