Job Summary
Define and execute the design vision for Black Label's refined, tailored lifestyle end-use, overseeing the design and development of the Wovens line. Conduct trend and vintage research based on seasonal inspiration and brand direction, then create original sketches, color-ups, and material suggestions for outerwear, tailoring, non-denim bottoms, and shirting categories. Prepare techpacks and design sheets, manage seasonal trim development, and attend weekly fittings from prototype through production to ensure fit and material accuracy. Present design concepts at sketch, prototype, and SMS stages while communicating inspiration to internal teams and cross-functional partners. Maintain updated seasonal boards and collaborate with merchandising and product development to drive brand alignment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, or related field experience
- Creative thinker with a passion for menswear
- Must have proficient technical knowledge of Wovens product (outerwear, tailoring, bottoms, shirting)
- Strong understanding of textiles, materials, and trims
- Must be extremely organized, have ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Must have thorough knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds
- Specific close vision abilities
Desired Qualifications
