Job Summary
Experienced Mechanical Designer responsible for designing and drafting mechanical components using Siemens UG NX CAD software. The role requires the ability to visualize and define designs for new machines and systems, prepare manufacturing drawings and BOMs, verify fit and function, and collaborate with engineering on calculations. Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. Responsibilities may also include analyzing engineering change requests and ensuring adherence to project milestones.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of work experience in mechanical engineering design and drafting using Siemens UG NX CAD software
- Ability to prepare simple layouts/drawings using CAD tools
- Experience in preparing bills of material and assembly drawings
- Experience with machine installation, commissioning, troubleshooting
- Familiarity with various domains/machineries: Printing, Packaging, Converting, and others listed
