Job Summary
Design and estimate enhancements for existing commercial properties by coordinating with account managers, landscape architects, and clients. Generate cutting-edge graphics using Vector works, Adobe Photoshop AI, and MS Teams, while creating cost and time estimates via BOSS LM. Propose designs for Bland Landscaping's commercial grounds management, estate gardening, and new construction projects, including on-site evaluations. Track installed project performance and gather feedback. Requires a horticulture degree, three years of landscape design experience, and the ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions
- Ability to work around bees, poison ivy, pollen, thorns, and other environmental risks
- Must have a valid NC Driver's license and maintain a good driving record
- Must have good organizational and communication skills
- Must be able to work independently
- Must have computer skills and be able to design, estimate, and propose enhancements using computer software
- Must have horticultural knowledge of plants commonly used in the Southeast Region, the ability to determine existing site conditions, and the ability to specify appropriate plants for different situations
- Must have a 2- or 4-year degree in horticulture or a related field
Desired Qualifications
- Prefer a minimum of three years of landscape design experience
