Job Summary
Consult with business leaders and subject matter experts to assess training needs and learning objectives, then recommend solutions using adult learning principles and instructional design theory. Design and develop training coursework by creating a structured approach that ensures appropriate understanding and knowledge transfer. Create blended learning solutions, prepare course materials, and observe programs to provide direction and coaching for learning transfer. Evaluate and measure instructional solutions to gauge effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement while reinforcing quality standards for learning assets.
Required Qualifications
- Experience with adult learning principles and concepts
- Knowledge of instructional design theory
- Familiarity with learning tools
- Experience with industry resources
- Ability to create a course design approach
- Capability to lay out material in the correct order for appropriate understanding, comprehension, and knowledge transfer
- Ability to evaluate and measure instructional solutions to gauge effectiveness
- Skill to make recommendations to improve course effectiveness
- Ability to reinforce quality standards for learning assets
- Capability to champion risk-taking and alternative approaches to the benefit of employees
- Experience providing key input to the team and external partners of best techniques to improve the tickiness of content
