Job Summary
Develop product designs and fabrication drawings for thermal oxidizers by interpreting project requirements, engineering specifications, and construction notes. Produce 3D parts, assemblies, and layouts using AutoDesk Inventor to support customer needs, while collaborating with Project Management and Engineering professionals to develop design concepts. Review drawings from other drafters to ensure alignment with corporate standards and make necessary corrections following the quality review process. Provide timely responses to inquiries and interact closely with manufacturing personnel to meet customer needs. Perform other duties of a similar nature as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- An associate degree in Drafting or CAD Technology
- 3-5 years of experience
- Working proficiency with AutoDesk Inventor
- Prior experience in the Engineering design
- Have a basic understanding of controls and instrumentation
- Have a basic understanding of welding processes, callouts, and applications
- Visits to our manufacturing facility and suppliers' facilities
- Compliance with company attendance standards
Desired Qualifications
- an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above (8 years of demonstrated experience in a mechanical engineering field in lieu of degree)
