Job Summary
Produce designs and documentation utilizing computer design and product life cycle management systems, including developing parts documentation and bills of materials. Work from oral engineering instructions, written procedures, schematics, drawings, and sketches, while detecting and correcting own errors. Lead small segments of large projects with responsibility for completion, exercising sound judgment in recognizing potential design problems. Maintain competency in computer-aided graphic systems through company training and develop strong communication skills. Receive generalized instructions from engineers or senior staff, with work direction, content, and accuracy reviewed by senior department members. May travel to various locations to support products or train personnel.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience using computer aided graphic solutions
- Experience in SolidWorks
- Experience in Creo
- Experience in Inventor
- Experience in ProEngineer CAD
- Experience in AutoCAD
- Must be customer driven
- Must be innovative
- Must be quality minded
- Must develop and exercise good communication skills
- Must maintain awareness and adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures
- Must be able to travel to various locations to support products or train other personnel
- Must pass additional drug screening
